The Engagement Activity graph shows tweets over time. The data can be grouped by Healthcare Stakeholders, Datasets, Topics, or Uniques using the options in the upper left above the graph. Each of these options will be outlined below.

Each of these categorizations can be filtered by stakeholder group by clicking on one or more of the stakeholder groups located above the graph. (Click on the stakeholder group a second time to deselect it.)

These graphs can be displayed in hours, days, or total using the options in the upper right above the graph. Just below these options are two additional icons, the bars, and the download. The bars icon allows customization of the graph format and the download icon allows for the graph to be downloaded in different formats (see screenshots below).

The Stakeholders option will organize the data by each stakeholder group (as in the screenshot below). Click on one or multiple stakeholder options located above the graph to only see the data for the selected stakeholder(s). By default, two rows of stakeholder options will display above the graph. The presence of a "+" icon to the left of the first stakeholder indicates there are additional stakeholder options not displayed. Click on the "+" to display all stakeholder options.

Note that the Stakeholders option will include double-counting of tweets if a Twitter account is in two or more categories.

The Datasets option will organize the data by unique hashtags (as in the screenshot above). Note that the Datasets option will always show you the exact tweet counts. The list of included hashtags will be listed in rows below the graph, in order of highest volume from left to right. By default, up to four rows of hashtags will display below the graph. Additional hashtags, if applicable, can be viewed by clicking the down arrow on the lower left below the hashtags (as in the screenshot above).

Clicking on a specific hashtag will pop up a box displaying details regarding the hashtag (as in the screenshot below). Each of the topics displayed below the "Last Chat" date can be clicked on to open a new browser tab with a new dashboard of that topic.

The "Dashboard" link opens a new browser tab with a new dashboard of the selected hashtag (in this case, #LCSM).

The "HHP" link opens a new browser tab with the Healthcare Hashtag Project with details of the selected hashtag.

The "Twitter" link opens a new browser tab with Twitter with activity under the selected hashtag.

The "Show/Hide" link reruns the graph with only the data for the selected hashtag.

The Topics option will organize the data by topic (as in the screenshot below).

The Uniques option will organize the data by volume of unique tweets.

For any of the data categorization options, hovering your mouse over the graph will highlight that portion of the graph and display the stakeholder, date, and tweet volume. Clicking on a specific point in the graph will pop-up a tweet transcript of that specific stakeholder group and date. As per the screenshot below, you can further drill down on specific stakeholders within the transcript, choose to exclude retweets if desired, as well as expand the total number of tweets included in the transcript (the default is 100).

Analyzing Twitter Accounts
When analyzing one or more Twitter accounts (i.e. @symplur ) the Dashboard by default looks at all tweets from @symplur , retweets of @symplur and all tweets mentioning @symplur

The icons in the upper right corner provide some additional options:

Table - The table icon changes the display to an Excel-like table. Click on the icon a second time to change the display back to the original format.

Export as CSV - Download this section into an Excel table file.

Read Help Article - The associated Help article will open in a new browser tab.

API Query - The code for the associated API query will display in a pop-up box. (Not yet available).

Refresh - The section data will refresh.

Remove - This section of the dashboard will be hidden. To view this section again, scroll to the bottom of the entire dashboard and click on the icon associated with this section.

Note - The section will display at the bottom of the dashboard and not in its original location.
