This filter will include/exclude tweets that that contain the word. The algorithm uses word fragments and includes occurrences in hashtags, mentions, and URLs.

Boolean search operators can be used to filter for multiple words.

Multiple word filters can be applied to search for tweets including certain words, but excluding others.

Regex

This filter also supports regex pattern matching.

Examples: 

^[c-f]

All tweets that begin with the letter C, D, E or F (Signals regex is case insensitive).

[A-Z0-9._%+-]+@[A-Z0-9.-]+\.[A-Z]{2,4}

All tweets with email addresses.

cancer$

All tweets that ends with word “cancer”.

[[:<:]]patient[[:>:]]

All tweets with the word “patient” and that word is not part of another word like “epatient”.
