The Summary report provides stats of:

  • tweets
  • users
  • impressions. The total number of impressions created in Twitter users’ tweet feeds. This number is calculated by summing up the sums from multiplying number of tweets times the number of followers for every participant.
  • retweets
  • replies
  • tweets with links
  • tweets with photos
  • tweets with mentions

Different numbers between Analytics Reports, Dashboard and API

The Dashboard and our API computes similar numbers than shown here but with a different methodology. Instead of counting the number of tweets with links, the Dashboard and API count the total number of links. A tweet can include one or more links. The same is true for media and mentions too. It is very common that the total number of mentions are larger than the total number of tweets.
